Great camera, but I'd love even longer battery life

Pros: Fast startup. Great video, great compression.

Cons: May not be as waterproof as I need. LCD display is more than I need.

The Bottom Line: So far a good buy, but the jury's still out on whether it'll be waterproof enough to last the year.

Review: I'm pleased with the video quality, it looks great at the highest quality setting. I use the camera (mounted on a kayak front deck) to record surf sessions, and there are 2 features that I'd really like to see added for this mode of operation. 1) ...

Well Worth The Investment!

Pros: Great underwater footage, small and convenient, surprisingly nice stills

Cons: Bad in low light, small zoom, painfully slow shutter lag, slightly unintuitive buttons and menus.

The Bottom Line: I wouldn't recommend it as the only camera for families, but would HIGHLY recommend it as an additional one.

Review: I own a Porsche Boxster and absolutely love it. But as the father of three small children, I could not imagine it being our only car, and, as video cameras go, I feel the exact same way about the Sanyo E1. Is it the best video camera you'll ever own? ...
