The 5-in-1 functionality of the DXG-305V provides consumers with a fun and compact device that is ready to be used at a moment's notice inside or outdoors. As a digital camcorder, the 305V utilizes the latest MPEG-4 video compression technology and allows users to record special events almost anywhere and play them back on their personal computer or TV. The built-in MP3 player allows songs to be downloaded and stored on the camcorder's memory and played back using the included earphones, a perfect addition for travelers. Cheap and light enough for the opportunistic to keep within arms-reach.

Pros: Stick to pictures and video and the 305V is marginally better than good enough.

Cons: No external power, eats batteries, no viewfinder, weird output format, instructions written in Martian.

The Bottom Line: A lot in one package, maybe too much. It is a good cheap digital video camcorder where an expensive unit won't go. Operation must be memorized.

Review: I cannot add much to the previous reviews, which cover all the bases with this camera. However, in a situation where any camera is better than nothing, the 305V is cheap and handy enough to come through. Generally, if you are expecting a ...

Pros: cam, video, mp3 lots of neat stuff

Cons: to much work camera made for someone who knows something about photography

Review: terrible pictures, can't find any instructions for the stupid thing can't read the ones that came with it and what I could read didn't help much. The owners manual on the dxg site doesn't tell you a thing. I never recieved a disc with it and no cables ...
